Redesign withoutlosing your rankings.

The most common way a redesign goes wrong is not the design. It is launching a new site on new URLs with no redirects, watching six years of search rankings disappear overnight, and having no idea why the phone stopped.

The problem

Your current site works. It just does not work hard enough.

You have traffic, you have some rankings, you have customers who find you. What you do not have is a site that converts them, loads quickly, or reflects how much the business has grown since it was built.

A redesign is the highest-risk thing you can do to a website that already earns. Done carefully it compounds what you have. Done carelessly it resets you to zero — and the damage does not show up for six weeks, by which point nobody remembers what changed.

What's included

How we protect what you have

A full crawl before anything changesEvery existing URL, every ranking, every inbound link recorded first. You cannot preserve what you have not measured.
Redirect map for every old pageEach old URL points at its closest new equivalent. Nothing 404s, and the authority those pages earned carries over.
Content auditWhat is ranking and why, what is dead weight, what is missing entirely. Pages that earn keep their content and their URL wherever possible.
The structure rebuilt properlyA page per service, a page per area, clear internal linking. This is usually what was missing, not the visual design.
Search Console monitored after launchCoverage and ranking watched closely for the first month, so anything that slips is caught in days rather than quarters.
Same phone number, better placementEverything that was working keeps working. We are removing friction, not personality.

Questions

The things people ask before they commit.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Not if it is done properly, and that is most of the work. Every existing URL is crawled and mapped to a redirect before launch, content that ranks keeps its wording, and Search Console is monitored closely afterwards. Some short-term movement is normal while Google re-crawls; a permanent drop is not, and it is avoidable.

Can you keep my existing content?

Yes, where it earns its place. Pages that already rank usually keep their copy and their URL — there is no benefit to rewriting something that works. What changes is structure, speed and the path from landing to enquiry.

How long does a redesign take?

Two to three weeks for most trade sites, longer if there are many service and area pages to restructure. The audit adds a few days at the start, and it is the part that prevents expensive mistakes.

What if my current site is on a platform you do not use?

Not a problem. We have migrated sites off builders, off old WordPress installs and off platforms nobody supports any more. The content and the rankings come with you; the platform does not have to.
