Ad spend you cantrace to jobs won.
Most trade ad accounts lose money in the same three places: bidding on searches that were never going to convert, sending every click to the homepage, and having no tracking to prove which is which.
Money leaves the account faster than work comes in, and the report does not explain why.
Google will happily spend your budget on anyone who typed something loosely related. Someone searching "how to fix a radiator valve" is not a customer — they are a DIYer, and you just paid for their research.
Meanwhile the searches that do convert — urgent, specific, local, high-intent — are competitive and expensive, and they get a fraction of the budget. Rebuilding around that difference is most of the work.

The things people ask before they commit.
How much should I spend?
Enough to buy meaningful data in your area, and no more than you can service. For most local trades that starts in the low hundreds per month plus management, but it depends entirely on your area and how competitive your trade is there. We will tell you honestly if your budget is too low to be worth starting.
Is the ad spend included in your fee?
No, and be careful with anyone who blurs that line. You pay Google directly from your own account, in your own name, so you can see every euro. Our fee is separate and stated up front.
Whose account is it?
Yours. Set up in your name, on your billing, with us given manager access. If you stop working with us, we hand it back and remove ourselves. You never lose the account or its history.
Ads or SEO — which first?
Ads if you need work this month. SEO if you can wait a quarter and want enquiries that keep coming without ongoing spend. Most businesses that can afford it run ads while SEO builds underneath.
